21st CENTURY EDUCATOR IN THE MAKING:

Teachers in the 21st century must be role models, visionaries, motivators, and facilitators, rather than just subject matter experts. Teachers must grow and adapt cooperatively in order to bring about an intentional change from actual memorization to future preparation in the learner's educational journey. The learnings and experiences really honed me to become a better, more effective, and more resilient educator. It enlightens me about the importance of this profession. It deepens my understanding that teachers teach, and we will do it as part of our service. We should do our mission without expecting anything in return. I have learned something that has really opened my eyes as a future educator: we must know how to transform our students from nothing to something. Moreover, while we are preparing for the future and are exposed to the teaching field as pre-service teachers, we should live the teaching vision and mission and the DEPED core values, know the PPST domains, follow the Code of Ethics, and have a personal value because, as teachers, we are the students' role models. Teachers should inspire the students and help them with the demands of learning. Additionally, as the world changes and teachers facilitate and transmit knowledge and learning while also nurturing learners, we should nurture students rather than destroy them. Furthermore, teachers have no boundaries in anything; they are extremely dedicated to their mission because they are professional teachers to the students 24 hours a day, seven days a week; this is why teachers should live an ethical life.

Let us keep in mind that we are the ones who draw our own image as teachers, so be an effective one. With that being said, "hindi natatapos ang pag aaral kasi hindi natatapos ang pagkatuto ng mga bata" and learning must be relevant to the learners inside and outside the classroom. We are 21st century educators, and teachers are always lifelong learners. We should become open to acquiring new knowledge and experiences, we should understand that our learners are diverse; we should have a lot of techniques that will truly enhance students' learning, and let us remember that teachers and students are both responsible for learners' learning, they should work together to achieve academic success. Overall, we should be teachers with a growth mindset rather than a fixed mindset in order to provide quality instruction and a teacher who is willing to accept development that will contribute to the teacher's growth in order to provide meaningful and lifelong learnings.

As a 21st century educator in the making, it is not a tough adjustment to me. In our institution, we are train by having different characteristics of the 21st century educator. They are honing us to become adaptive, teachers should adapt to anything life throws at them because being a teacher in today's generation entails adapting to the constantly changing tools and changes that are applied in education, schools and classrooms. Just like for example based on what pandemic brought us, in online teaching and learning, a 21st-century teacher must be comfortable with televisions replacing chalkboards and smartphones and tablets replacing textbooks. In fact, to become a 21st century educator, our institution molds us to become a lifelong learner, we as educators not only demand their pupils, but also themselves, to be lifelong learners. We should stay current on educational trends and technology, and they know how to update existing lesson plans that would benefit to the diversity of the learners and could able to be on the educational trends to arouse learners’ interest. Apart from this, we are challenged by our institution to become tech-savvy, technology is rapidly transforming the way, which means that a 21st-century teacher must stay current. An effective teacher understands that knowing about the latest technology may actually improve their learners' education, so they are not only up to date on the latest trends, but also truly understand how to use them effectively.

Obviously, teaching in the 21st century implies continuing to teach in the same manner as before, but using modern methods and technology. It comprises integrating everything vital in today's world in order for students to be prepared to live and succeed in today’s world, as well as having the capacity to lead and prepare students for the future.

MY PASSION INTO MISSION:

As a Field Study Student and Future Educator, I can view teaching as touching the lives of each learner. We, as teachers needs to mold them into a better version of themselves. Moreover, I believe that teaching must be beyond the classroom walls. The learnings that each student would learn should contribute to their profession in the near future. Teaching must be meaningful and effective in a way that the teachers will just facilitate the students but we are not the dispenser of knowledge, we should let our learners grasp and explore on their own because teacher’s mission is to teach while students job is knowledge discovery. Teaching is to transform lives.  When the school bell sounds, teachers still continue working and that clearly shows the dedication to their profession. Teachers needs to know how to use their passion into mission. Perhaps the most significant aspects of teaching are commitment and dedication. Teachers not only listen to their students, but also provide guidance

INVOLVEMENT: AS A TOOL TO ACADEMIC SUCCESS

As to how learning can be improved and enhanced, both students and teachers have a massive effect. In fact, interaction plays a vital role in the teaching and learning process. Teachers should experiment with a variety of interactive methods to improve their students' learning experiences. As teachers, we need to remember that "interaction is the key to the success of learning," because as future teachers, the more we interact with our learners, it gives our learners an opportunity to learn and understand. Moreover, we need to put in our minds that, while we as teachers should know how to teach the content or the lesson itself, we also need to assure that, while we are teaching the content or the lesson, we are also teaching and transforming the lives of each learner inside the classroom. We need to involve our learners in the teaching and learning process through interactive activities. Explore various strategies to involve our learners to increase both their engagemen
